I know that some users are still having problems accessing Kumos and having their CPU spin to 100% or just not loading in older browsers / systems, so I've pushed out some changes related to that and other general improvements.

Sidebar & Layout

• Rewrote the sidebar and all of the widgets to use significantly less javascript. They all fetch information in a less stressful way on the server now as well

Other improvements:

• Doubled the number of web servers running Kumos to respond to capacity needs
• 🎃 Added the link to the Pumpkin Patch event

I think the speed got cranked up too high. The site timers are all wrong. Quests are immediately running out, and the pumpkin patch cooldown is non-existent.

Unfortunately I'm still having trouble with it using 100% GPU. To be clear that's GPU (graphics processing unit), not CPU (central processing unit). When I open kumos, bam, 100%. However, when I scroll down so that the top bar with the navigation and everything is no longer visible on the screen, it drops significantly. As I write this post now on Kumos far enough down the page without the navigation visible, it's hovering between 10%-40%.

It's still not working correctly on Opera and Seamonkey. Everything is far to the left, starting at the very edge. Part of the huge (covering 1/2 to full of the screen) arrows, plus signs, etc. turned out to be the add/remove sidebar widgets buttons. To reach the actual site content (like now Melodies welcoming) needs endless pages long scrolling past all this. The link then works, at the bottom of the next page the various years and each of the 4 items are all underneath each other on a seperate line. (same before with Pumpkin Patch) Even though it takes a good while, mastering and using these click&go features is not fun but possible. Real gameplay, questing etc. is impossible and needs switching to a different browser/computer.

P.S./edit Since later in the evening I kept/next day still keep getting "419 Page Expired" on almost every click (buying from shops - various items in a row-, this morning Melody and start fishing) or the "oops, something went wrong". I have to go back and try again, then it usually works.
